DMCA & Copyright
Copyright protection, takedown procedures, and request removal of copyrighted work including presets
6ure respects intellectual property rights. We respond to valid notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar laws. If you believe content on any 6ure platform - including presets (hosted on our Discord server), requests, Wiki content, or other materials - infringes your copyright, you may send a takedown notice. If your content was removed and you believe it was mistaken or misidentified, you may send a counter-notice.
In short
- Copyright holder – send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent (see below) with the required information; we will process valid notices and may remove or disable access to the reported content (presets on Discord, requests, Wiki pages, etc.); for Discord-hosted content we encourage contacting us first so we can address concerns promptly.
- User whose content was removed – you may send a counter-notice if you believe the removal was mistaken; we may forward it to the complainant and, if they do not sue, we may restore the content.
- We may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Knowingly misrepresenting that content is infringing (or not) may result in liability.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all 6ure platforms, including: the 6ure website (About, Wiki, Password hub, Verify), the 6ure Requests platform (6ureleaks.com/requests), application forms, and our Discord server where we host and share presets. Content covered includes but is not limited to: presets, request submissions, comments, Wiki articles, application form responses, and materials accessible via the Password hub. For content hosted on Discord, copyright holders typically submit notices to Discord; we encourage contacting us first at contact@6ureleaks.com so we can address concerns promptly.
2. Designated agent
We have designated an agent to receive DMCA notices and counter-notices. Send all copyright-related communications to:
- Email: contact@6ureleaks.com
- Use the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice" so we can process your message promptly.
3. Filing a DMCA takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act on their behalf) and believe that content on any 6ure platform infringes your copyright - including presets, requests, Wiki content, or other materials - please send a written notice that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g. title, registration number, or description).
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that you want removed or disabled, with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it (e.g. URL, screenshot, or precise description - including platform such as Discord channel, 6ureleaks.com/requests page, Wiki, or request ID).
- Your contact information – address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send the notice to contact@6ureleaks.com. We will review it and, if it is valid and complete, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and may notify the user who posted it. We aim to process valid notices within 24–48 hours where practicable.
4. Counter-notice
If your content was removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was mistaken (e.g. you have rights to use the work, it was misidentified, or it is not infringing), you may send a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location (e.g. URL) where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or their agent.
Send the counter-notice to contact@6ureleaks.com. We may forward it to the person who submitted the original takedown notice. If that person does not file a court action against you within a period required by law (typically 10–14 business days), we may restore the content.
5. Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also remove content and take other measures we deem necessary to comply with the DMCA and to protect the platform and rights holders.
6. Misrepresentation
Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees). Do not submit a takedown notice or counter-notice unless you have a good-faith basis. If you are unsure, consider consulting a lawyer before sending a notice.
7. Contact
For all DMCA-related communications (takedown notices, counter-notices, and questions), contact our designated agent at contact@6ureleaks.com. For other legal matters, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
